Today, members of the 4th US attended the Antique Show at the State Fair grounds, where we charmed everyone with our wit, knowledge, and strange attire. Highlights of the outing included a variety of questions from many interested passers-by; meeting our newest member, Tom (Hi, Tom!); and Erin's surprisingly popular blue willow plate. Reliable sources (possibly Captain Jones) report that the firing demonstration set off two car alarms with a mere three volleys. Undoubtedly, this record will be tested many times over the upcoming season. You can do it, boys!
Honorable mentions go out to the new USAS slogan ("Join the civilians, we have lemonade!"), and Sgt. Hick's beautiful improvised table coverings. There's apparently more than one use for a pup tent...
